About Basel II and III

The provisions for capital requirements of banks of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision Basel II came into effect in 2007 and aim to contain the business risks of banks and in this way to strengthen the financial system. About BPMN 2.0

BPMN 2.0 is a worldwide accepted standardised modelling language of business processes with the aim of creating a connection between the business design and the IT design view. BPMN 2.0 is thereby tool-independent and contains not only provisions for the graphical design of models, but provides furthermore a meta-model that defines a determined set of attributes for each object type.

About FAMOS

FaMoS (FachModellierungsStandard) is a method for business process modelling that is oriented towards municipal processes. It was developed in the context of a cooperation project with the participation of many municipalities, the German Communal Joint Office for Administrative Management, the so-called Kommunale Gemeinschaftsstelle für Verwaltungsmanagement (KGSt), and other partners and was presented for the first time in summer 2009.

Due to a character set that is adapted to the requirements in the municipal environment and a specific model architecture the method is particularly suitable for the presentation of facts and processes in the field of public administration.
